Mary’s special topics courses are always full and students are repeatedly asking for more. She brings the best of new research with quantitative models, theory and historical example to share with her classroom. She is an extremely active faculty member and serves on many department and college wide committees. Everyone that works with Mary knows she is brilliant in both her subject matter and technological expertise. She is always fair-minded and professional in her approach to others and overall a fantastic colleague to work with.

SOC 2210 StudentI just wanted to say that I am really enjoying your sociology of deviance course. I have taken several web courses, and none of them have really ever held my attention. I especially love the topics of the discussion board; in all of the other web courses I have taken the topics were so boring and just needed to be done to get the grade. Your topics are actually meaningful and get conversation going about real life problems. I just wanted to thank you for keeping my attention for the quarter and offering a great class!
