I hope your winter break is going well. I’m reaching out to thank you for an absolutely incredible semester in 4509. The class made me think about law and society in completely new ways and shifted the course of my life. I so appreciate how intellectually stimulating it was and your deeply engaging lectures. Thank you so much for meeting with me at the beginning of the semester; I am slowly working my way through the materials you recommended.

I hope I’ll be able to take another one of your classes next year — you are the best professor I’ve had at OSU! In summary, thanks for all you do and all you taught me.

I just wanted to say that I am really enjoying your sociology of deviance course. I have taken several web courses, and none of them have really ever held my attention. I especially love the topics of the discussion board; in all of the other web courses I have taken the topics were so boring and just needed to be done to get the grade. Your topics are actually meaningful and get conversation going about real life problems. I just wanted to thank you for keeping my attention for the quarter and offering a great class!

Your class was a wonderful introduction to sociology and inspired me to add a Legal Foundations minor to my degree.

I have been on a long break from school and took a leap of faith to start the process of finishing my degree. Thank you so much for helping reignite my passion for the world of academia.
